Sake Brewery

The Takasago Sake Brewery Corporation has as its predecessor, the Kohiyama Sake Brewery which has a history of more than a century, and is one of the first original Sake Breweries in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido Japan.

Starting with brand names such as Kokushimusou and Ichiyashizuku, Takasago Sake Brewery uses the special rice for sake, grown by our company Muumin Village, to make about 30 different brands of Sake, and is one of the oldest and most representative Sake Breweries in Asahikawa City.

In the year of Meiji 42 (1909) the present day Takasago Brewery was built and is one of Asahikawa's most famous historical buildings. It is open to the public for guided tours and also has a tasting room and a brewery direct shop where customers can purchase their products.
